Formerly known as Vicwood Plaza, the developer of Infinitus Plaza is the Vicwood Group, a company founded by Mr. Vicwood K. T. Chong. The site of the plaza used to be the Star Theatre (formerly known as the World Theatre) and the Ship Bureau. The plaza was completed in 1987.
In June 2003, Morgan Stanley bought the Vicwood Plaza from Vicwood Group with HKD 840 million and then sold it to Macquarie at HKD 2.6 billion in March 2006.
In August 2010, LKKHPG bought the Vicwood Plaza from Macquarie with about HKD 4 billion and changed its name into “Infinitus Plaza” on 17 December 2010.
Infinitus Plaza is a 34-storey building, with a gross floor area of approximately 400,000 square feet (37,000 square metres). It comprises a 30-floor Grade A office tower with 29 leasable office floors and 4 floors of retail space. Its major tenants include Compass Executive Centres, Haitong Securities, Li, Wong, Lam & W.I. Cheung Solicitors, Venetian, Chiuchow Garden Restaurant, Star of Canton, Beijing House, Antipodean, Suzuki Café, Pacific Coffee, BESS & Viola.
